Grand Bend U-Store-It is located behind Dale’s Antique Market and has been operating since 1991. Situated 1 mile south of Grand Bend on highway #21, approximately 45 minutes from Sarnia, London and Goderich, Ontario.

We offer drive up ground floor access to all our storage units. We provide an affordable way to store your items at a convenient location. Our goal is to provide you with the right storage solution to fit your needs.

Here are some of the questions people frequently ask us.

Is there a set length of time that I’m required to stay?
Our rental agreements work on a month-to-month basis with a minimum of only one month rental required. Sign for as long or little as you need. The lease length can be customized to your needs.

Who has access or a key to my storage space?
As the renter, you are required to provide your own lock. This way you are the only one with access to your storage space.

How much does a storage space cost?

A 5ft x 10ft storage space is $50.00 + HST per month.
A 8ft x 9ft storage space is $65.00 + HST per month.                                                                            A 10ft x 15ft storage space is $90.00 + HST per month.

Are the contents of my unit covered by insurance?
No, not unless you take out insurance on your own. Most home insurance policys will cover your stored goods, or it can be amended to provide you with coverage. Please consult with your insurance company.

Do I have to leave a security deposit?
Yes, a deposit equal to one months rent is required. This amount is fully refundable given proper notice of vacating and emptying of storage unit.

When is my payment due?
Payment is due on the 1st of the month. If you move in part way through a month, your rent will be pro-rated for the remainder of that month.

What size of storage units to you have?
We currently have 5ft Wide x 10ft Deep, 8ft Wide x 9ft Deep and 10ft Wide x 15ft Deep self storage units available. We hope to expand on these in the near future.

How much notice do I have to give before I move out?
Please let us know 30 days prior to vacating the unit.

What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, debit, cash or cheques. If you prefer, we can set up automatic payments so you don't have to remember to send us your cheque or call us with your credit card.
